Bombsite Trail

Brief Description:
The Bombsite Trail leads to where the Japanese dropped a bomb on the United States during World War II. The trail is only one mile in length and a monument is located on the trail, recognizing the bombsite.

Trail Access: The Bombsite Trail is 19 miles, by road, east of Brookings, Oregon. From Highway 101 take County Road 808 (South Bank Road) to Forest Service Road 1205 (Mt. Emily Road). The trail is located off road 1205 after spur road 260.
